played final fantasy 7 and no shit this was treated like it the second coming when it came out
the music is so good, the characters are very distinct, the story is literal insanity blowing my mind watching the northern crater fuckery go down, tifa and cloud exploring cloud's mind in this abstract as shit segment
never something I would have expected from an rpg from the 90s
and the gameplay is this great tried and true lego playset snapping orbs from one character to the next messing around constantly experimenting
so much side content too with meaningful rewards
this shit? GOOD
protagonist was in a damn wheelchair and still captivated me more than most other game characters
