Really amazing game. One of the few times I played a Mario game for the story/characters (AND the gameplay of course).
Played it for the first time a few years ago, no nostalgia for me. It's genuinely a great game.

I only deleted one of the files to play myself and left the others.

I also have files on my Dragon Quest III, IV and Mother for Famicom, I never erased them. Probably they're from some jap kids in the 80s, too magical.

I thought there was a lot of text on PM, more than I expected for a Mario RPG. Like.. what could a Goomba say? or a Koopa Troopa? or a fucking Boo? well, they can have their own personalities and be as charming as those characters we like from own childhood movies and cartoons. Something that was missing in other Mario games, and is done brilliantly on this game.
But it's also not a game only for kids, I think the humor is also funny for adults, in a very lightearthed but witty way.

Ah yeah I definitely want to play those Mario & Luigi games, I remember looking at some gameplay footage back when the first one was released, and I wished I had a GBA.
Now I do, so I'll try to get to play them soon, and the DS one too.
