This is an adventure game where you need to search around to find items you need to solve puzzles.

But the items are so hidden and the graphics so janky you usually can't even see the thing you're looking for on screen. I remember finding a wrench completely at random when searching an alley.

Every time you look and don't find anything the game freezes and your character says "I can't do that!" or "I can't do anything!". You will hear that phrase hundreds or thousands of times if you plan to "play" all the way through.


Ohh, and if you want to save your game make sure you have a memory card set aside just for it. It requires an entire, empty memory card just for a single save file.

The movie it's based on is pretty awesome though.

City of Lost Children without question.

It's basically a point and click adventure game but because of the "detailed" graphics and low resolution you often can't even really see on screen the items you're supposed to click on. I remember finding a pair of scissors in an alley beside a trash can. Nothing to indicate scissors would be there, you can't see them you just have to search there.

So you just wander around searching every inch of the map and every single time she doesn't find anything you hear either "I can't do it" or "I can't do anything!" Over and over and over and over.

The kicker? If you actually want to keep playing the game is that you better have a spare memory card because a single save game needs an entire memory card.

The movie it's based on was great though. Highly recommended.

Pic related requires and entire empty memory card for one save. It's also one of the worst games on the system.

There's this, but it's genuinely one of the worst games ever made so I don't recommend it unless you want to hear "I can't do anything!" a billion times and have a complete empty memory card around somewhere for a single save file.

The City of Lost Children. By far. The movie is quite good, but the game is the biggest mess I've ever played.

Imagine an old style adventure game, where you're going around collecting items to solve puzzles. Except that the items you're looking for usually can't even be seen on screen, so you just have to wander around searching every inch of everything. Add to that, every time you search and there's nothing there she says either "I can't do that!" or "I can't do anything" which really just means that you are hearing her say that constantly.

The kicker on top of everything is that the game requires an entire memory card worth of space for a single saved game.
