The problem is that it makes the game looks cheaply made. That's still a mid 90s environment these super glossy toy figures are hopping around in. This doesn't look like a revolutionary game from the 90s; it looks like someone playing with models on a stock "dungeon" layout. What's with the terrible looking explosion? Why is Bowser manifesting flames out of his neck? A lot more work needs to be put into this before it reaches anywhere near this picture.

He's basically yellow these days.
