I agree. Min/maxing makes for very stale gameplay. I’ll get to it when I want to, and if I plan on competing with the big boys I’ll get into it. But its a TBS. Literally who cares? Enjoy the game the way you wan’t to play.

First two that came to mind. The fact that you can walk around and explore towns and the world map like a normal RPG is one reason I prefer Shining Force over other SRPGs.

It's great. I like 3 about equally, but still need to play the other 2 scenarios.

Sarah is cool, last time I played I leveled her all the way to 40 before promoting and she just destroyed the rest of the game as a Monk.
