/vr/ - Retro Games

I saw a thread on /v/ where people were saying that sixth generation (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube) games are too old to play. Hold me, /vr/.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a CRPG with enjoyable combat? I love games like Fallout and Planescape: Torment but where they always fall a bit flat for me is in the combat area. I wouldn't say they have awful combat (Except for Planescape maybe) but it just never feels like there's much to it. I'd like something that requires a bit more thought or strategy.

The catch for this recommendation is the thing I love in these games is a lot of dialog and dialog options. It would really need to have good combat and also fun dialog option stuff to get me really interested. It's not really a necessity though.

Could any of you help me out?
