There are monitors like the 2950Q and pic related that are 20"+ while still being 4:3. Although you'd still have much better luck finding a 20" one than the aforementioned PVMs.

That was the consumer version of the 4300, the KX-45ED1.

RIP anon.

I would like to point out that's just a large Mitsu TV and not an AM-4201r.

Another contender for "biggest CRT".

I would also like to note that Mitsubishi did make some CRTs upwards of 60'' or so, but that was all experimental shit that was never actually sold to my knowledge.

While I still find it unlikely that those "800 line" specs are actual TVL measurements, TVL refers to horizontal resolution, not vertical.

The standard NTSC video signal is technically 720x480, so a higher TVL doesn't go to waste even on SD content.

I'm still wondering about the anon that was supposedly getting one of these a year or two ago.

It may be dependent on series, but some will at least leave 480p alone(but still with 2 frames of delay)

For one, it's not a converter, just an adapter.

And for two, no it wouldn't work.

For three, even if it did in fact somehow work, you'd just be getting normal composite out of the console and would be entirely better of just using a regular composite cable.

Exclusively PC monitor, or PC resolutions and more?

Mitsubishi obviously has it's AM-4201r, which will do TV resolutions as well as lower PC resolutions, with some of their later smaller stuff being a bit more capable. NEC has equally large sets (to the smaller ones) with similar capabilities.

I can't read moonrunes, but I believe this will display at least something in the 31khz range in some form. No idea exactly what though.
Pretty sure this is just about the largest functional CRT out there though, TV or otherwise.
RIP anon
