you pokey and picky go up to the top of the hill in your hometown to check out an asteriod, i think picky disappears and you guys have to go back up and find him, you find a bug that talks and you gives you a sound stone and tells you about the eight sanctuaries, there is one here in your hometown but the door to it is locked because the local punks partied in the shack too hard, you go beat the punks at the arcade and get the key from the mayor, you go to your first sanctuary, leaving the cops try to fight you and you beat them and they open up the road to the next town, meanwhile a girl is contacting you psychically saying she needs your help, shes from the next town over, you go there and shes missing, after checking out the town you go to a small village past the river, a crazy cult obsessed with painting stuff blue has her locked in a shed outside of the village, you go talk to her to get something to help with the fight against the cult leader
