Panzer Dragoon 1 and 2 could've worked very well as FMV shooters, especially if they could manage to integrate the camera mechanics somehow. I think I just prefer the older style with some games, the same goes for a lot of shmups on Saturn. They are fun but I really like the look and feel of the ones on SEGA CD and Genesis. There was also no real reason for Saturn not to get Starblade, it's on both SEGA CD and PS1.

Usually just regular Super on Street Fighter Collection. But I really like the soundtrack on 3DO, plus it fixes the difficulty and has faster load times apparently

It boggles my mind how Saturn fans are trying to subtly undermine and retcon the success of the Genesis in the west. It was the one SEGA console that truly gave Nintendo a run for their money, it sold better than the Saturn, and most of the games have aged way better than the Saturn, 2D games and shmups included. I want SEGA on a CD I play SEGA CD or Dreamcast. If I want PS1 I play PS1.

Agree. I like a lot of SNES games but so much Mega Drive music is just fucking incredible. My CRT is dogshit and crackly as fuck (Was practically free) but I have to jam out and crank it up every time I sit down to play. Even listen to the OSTs while working. I can't get enough.
