I just replayed The Scarlet Cascabel, what did I think of it?

Mansion heists, Hammerite temples, haunted tombs, huge city maps, Constantine's Manor surrealism, I love it all.

Thief 2. Thief Gold has some amazing highs but also some depressive lows.

I'm just glad there's still some of them in Thief 2. I think having a more grounded setting and then adding an occasional fantasy moment amplifies said moments and makes them much more memorable.

Let it rest. The community has been doing an amazing job keeping it alive for more than two decades, it's not worth risking tearing the community apart over what would be at best a graphical improvement, at worst a complete bastardization of some of the most soulful games ever made.

Any good FMs from 2000-2010 that use for the most part the base games' assets? I've played plenty of the more recent ones and now I'm digging into the past for more but most of the very highly rated ones drift away in terms of style from the original games.

Just finished thief 2, what Fan missions should i play first? is there a "deathwish" sort of mappack for thief? i know that there is a "So you want to play some..." in the mega folder but i dont know what to chose, so what is it taffers?
