Let's have a Shinobi thread.

What are your thoughts on the Shinobi games and which is your favorite in the series?

I've been playing the Game Gear and Master System Shinobi lately, and wow... People weren't kidding about the Game Gear one, talk about a hidden gem. I'm enjoying the Master System one a lot, LOT more than I thought I was going to. The game is really smooth both in terms of framerate and controls, the level layout is surprisingly smart/creative/fun, and I'm loving the hostage pick up bonuses. The actual bonus stage is really cool, too. Pretty difficult though.
