Because I'm still young, even a "zoomer" by definition. The 6th gen was absolutely huge and because of the 7th gen being so bad people rocked ps2 slims into the 2010s, and with the Wii supporting Gamecube games they still had fucking Gamecube games forever at renting places and shit before they died.

Personally I think yes, the rest of 6th gen besides Dreamcast is retro now, but it really should get it's own board because of how huge and impactful it is. I also think it that when this rule is figured out it should probably be set in stone, marking the end of an era where consoles were born to be played on 4:3 CRTs.
