You bet it isn't.
You guys made a mistake with this one, moderating this board will be a nightmare now. You will have to keep checking which PS2 games are retro and which aren't every time you receive a report.
This will also not solve the begging issue, the same way many people thought /vr/'s original rules were "not fair", the same will happen now, and 7th gen kids will start questioning the rules and demanding a closer cut-off date to include 7th gen as well.
Nobody asked for a mobile board, nobody asked for a multiplayer board, nobody asked for a handheld board, but /v2k/ was a popular requested board, as it'd solve both problems in 1.
Now you will have a semi-peaceful board turned into a 24/7 battlefield, hard to moderate, and you still haven't solved the issue that 7th gen is also difficult to discuss, as is 6th gen.
/v2k/ would have solved all the issues, you fucked up.
