I'm afraid that's just you m8, I recently played TP HD on CEMU and I was having a blast with it.
It's obvious that some parts have aged a bit in the meantime, like the mostly empty Hyrule Field for example, but the temples were still fun as fuck and the atmosphere remains really captivating, particularly the twilight bits.
Soundtrack is also one of the best I've ever heard, and Midna and Zant's stories were actually really well written for a Zelda game, which I didn't fully appreciated when I was younger.
