It's not that simple. Everything from Mega Plus sans the unlockables are actually still in Gems Collection as timed museum demos. If you disable the timer, Gems Collection is hands down the winner.

Weird thing is the soundtrack switches depending on region on PS2 and the GCN version still has alternate intro and outros available via Action Replay. It could've beat the Taxman version to the punch if it had an in-game soundtrack toggle, but Sega lacked the foresight.

This, plus Sonic 2 uses the wrong sound effects like Sonic 1 invincibility and 3&K music speed up at Special Stages or Doomsday Zone, though Sonic World is still king of the extras.
