In short, yeah. There are many boards with all sorts of rules and mods and janitors mostly just look at reports. If a post gets a bunch of reports and then there's a guy there saying PC games go by release date instead of platform like everything else sometimes a mod will just delete it without bothering to check further.

There's also a technique of reporting something repeatedly over the course of a day or two in the hopes of one of them ending up in the pile of a delete-happy mod who will ex it just because.

Remember... this guy might be incredibly stupid, even possibly clinically retarded or autistic and he doesn't understand what the rules say, but he's also incredibly dedicated to keeping PC discussion here as low as possible. That's just the nature of mental illness, but we don't have to keep letting him ruin the board.
