however, I've already opened it up because I can't stand the speakers pointing inward. there's nothing stopping them from being rotated in the proper direction, the wires are plenty long, and there's even a hole in the right place but the screw isn't long enough, so now they are held by just one screw and some double sided tape. and yeah the sound quality improvement is noticeable.
