Not him, I need another one of these for my PMP IV

Why not just buy an SF2000 or PowKiddy Q90 or something? Outside of -maybe- Brick Game LCD toys, most of the handhelds I've bought exceeded my expectations, including even Famiclones. Sometimes it's better just to collect the cheap ones if you just want a quick fix, that way you can collect as many as you want without having to pay out so much. There's a lot of nice-looking handhelds but there are cheaper alternatives to basically every single one. There's also PowKiddy Q20 and LDK landscape if you can find one

Buy an SF2000, it's basically a portable SNES but can also play Genesis and other 8-bit and 16-bit platforms

There's a custom firmware that fixes some issues with the device, also you should be able to run most Genesis games just fine. SNES is down to what chip the game requires so Mario or DKC should be fine but you may have trouble with something like Yoshi's Island, but you can always just emulate the GBA version instead. Anyway, the appeal of these devices is being able to play more than just NES for cheap. They are basically one step above a Famiclone, which is not necessarily a bad thing imo

We haven't played them together yet but I got one of my friends a Famiclone handheld and an emulator handheld. They're a fun way to get people into retro gaming, especially if they grew up without video games or post-2000

Hm... PMP IV is currently out of stock so I may end up just getting an SF2000 or an X6 instead, either way will be nice to get a new handheld for Christmas. I guess I will probably get an X6 for my friend as well

The cheap ones are my favorite ones honestly. I'd buy an SF2000 or PMP IV before getting an RG35XX or Miyoo Mini, Maybe not as powerful but still good enough for me. Even the Famiclones have their own special charm to them

The gray was the only one I saw on eBae

It's also the actual color I grew up with

Not that anon but after you mentioned this I managed to find one for cheap and decided to buy this for my friend instead of >>10256928

V90 is a good handheld, I bought mine in 2020. Most of the handhelds I like are just no name Famiclones or emulators, if I had the money for an Analogue or Anbernic I would probably just spend it on a few cheap handhelds and maybe a few books or something lol
