Is it feasibly possible to make decorative flames via archvile infighting against a thin wall?
I was spitballing something like
>player crosses linedef
>out of bounds voodoo doll is revealed to some random trash mob at an angle that guarantees a hit on the archvile
>doll is quickly hidden to prevent player damage, two dopes are teleported to the desired location
>vile casts majicks on the sacrifice, player can see flames either through fake wall trickery or lighting
>once show is over crush all involved
sounds overcomplicated, filled with breakpoints, inconsistent, and not at all worth the effort
but you can say you did a cool looking thing on the doom engine and that's all that matters
I should really just git gud at making maps normally before I skip to the autistic nigger rigging
