Mk3 is a mixed bag. New Sub looks awful but the female ninjas look the best ever. Motaro is kinda lame but Sheeva is awesome. 4 is pretty bad all over. They got it on the money with 9 though.

Fighting the AI in fighting games is a hollow, shitty experience at every level. If you just want to see the endings, put it on easy. A retarded child with parkinsons could beat MK on easy. Don't bother trying to make it challenging because the AI is terrible and beating it at higher levels is all about exploiting it and doing the same couple things over and over.

If you actually want to play Mortal Kombat just get MK9 and learn that. It still has players online.

Funny, but you actually illustrate part of what I talk about made MK such a success. I never had to teach her anything more than some basic scrub tactics and it was enough to hold her own and often win against my friends which is all she'd ever want to do.
