I asked this in The CRT thread but no one seemed to know the answer. Pic related has nothing plugged into it. When I turn the tv on, I get a plain black picture, but when I switch to component, I get this spot in the middle. WTF?

S video and composite don’t have this problem, and again, nothing is plugged in.

I get a red circle in the middle of my picture when I switch to component. It disappears once a game system is turned on, even stays away on games with black backgrounds. Any ideas?
