You might not like it, but Halo is still THE benchmark for AI in games, has a superb combat system with the shield/health energy/bullet dynamic, the best implementation of vehicles in an FPS to date, especially in MP, and a superb mix of emergent game play and set piece design.

Halo really does deserve all its praise, at least up to Halo 4. CE-Reach are all games rich with merit and are must plays, to this day. The only question is, do you believe? Or are you just a geek?
