I'd love a Mario 3 hack. I recently played a new hack called Wetland Trials. It was fun, so that tells me that /v/ and/or /vr/ can collage some levels made in SMB3 Foundry, maybe even release it for the site's 20th anniversary. That hack uses entirely vanilla assets, so I have no clue how much more accessible SMB3 hacking has gotten lately. They probably need someone like Vitor Vilela or Kaze Emanuar, some giga coder who makes tools and hacks that show what the game can really do, jazzing up interest in the game.

IIRC the Zelda 1 hack only got one thread. No one even knew how to contribute, since the OP didn't post any tools or baseroms or anything.
