The gameboy was kept alive because of one single rpg so no, why was nintendo so adamant about a proper rpg for the nintendo 64 when literally their handheld market at that time was winning solely because of Pokemon? (an rpg)

There's something cozy about a console having a small library, honestly

I found an N64 for a literal steal along with three games and memory expansion in a thrift store. Got home and found out that the console and all three games are NTSC, and I live in a PAL country. Though the PSU has been replaced with a 220v version.
I already have a PAL N64, so is there any reason to keep an NTSC version?

I still love my N64, I'm by no means one of those retards who considers it a Jaguar-tier failure, but I'm wondering what could perhaps have been done to fix some of the issues that plagued its existence?
