This little gem is even more melancholic, emotional and gloomy. Which is already why 7 sucks so much. That and the crappy 3d graphics.

I just can't really see what's so great about it, I can't even get the motivation to continue playing it (only played for like 5 hours total) but every other FF from 1-10 (except 2 and 8) hooked me pretty quickly, and I never had a problem needing to build up a desire to play them.

how bad is the gba port exactly? Just finished 5 advance and wondering what the best way to play 6 is

Which Final Fantasy has the best soundtrack, and why was it 6?

It's a fantastic game but basically everything about the franchise that has been done to death originates with this iteration. Everything people hate about 7 is almost guaranteed to first appear in 6. Kefka is at least a much better villain than Seph, and the story is less confusing.

I need help playing Final Fantasy VI. I'm at the part where Kefka's troops are climbing up the mountain and you split into three parties and have to stop them from getting to Baron. I got beat pretty bad. What should my strategy be? What should my parties be? I put Locke and Celes together and they didn't last too long, Same with Terra and Edgar. Cyan, Edgar, and Gau lasted a little longer, but I still died.

Why is it so hard to find a good way to play FF6.

I don't get why people love this game so much. I just finished it and found it exceedingly underwhelming. The music isn't as awesome as 4 or 5, the magicite system is exploitable as all fuck, and the story has already been done before. The Arena system is broken and there are WAY too many main characters to keep track of. I still think it's a great game and have no regrets with the purchase, but I'd still rather play 4, 5, 7, and 9.

Anyone prefer FFVI was getting remade for modern consoles instead of FFVII? Let's discuss these two games.
