Just two days ago I played this one, and it's a pretty short and solid experience with interesting visuals, high production value, and some neat surprises. I recommend going back for the developer commentary - it was made by Cayle George, who was a level designer for TF2 and Portal 2.

A 20 year old classic with good gameplay and fun, clever setpieces. There was a memorable ambush where some vorts teleported in behind me, and I had to run and crouch behind cover before they could zap me. It felt like something out of Die Hard, and I will remember that when designing my own encounters.

One of my all-time favorites. Integrating the Uplink demo as a chapter in the full game has been done before, but this mod transforms it into a huge extension of the "Forget About Freeman!" chapter. Fun setpieces, ambitious scripting (you get to pilot a brush-based loader robot at one point) and a reinterpretation of the cut Communications Center from the Alpha days. It adds a little too much for what would be a single chapter in the main game, but it's very, very high quality. Since it works like an add-on, you can choose to start from the beginning of the game or skip straight to the revamped chapter.

An updated re-release of the author's three mods - HTC, Autonomy Lost and Abeyance - as a single bundle, lets you play as a female HECU grunt who was shot and left for dead by a Black Ops assassin. I played all three when they were still separate mods, but HTC alone makes it worth it.
