I dont really think dream land one is bad. It was the first game in the series n it's still fun for what it is.

A lot of kirby games are easy but that's the appeal of kirby. Kirby was made for everyone. No matter your age or game experience. you can pick up a kirby game and enjoy it to some extent.
I do feel like some of the newer games have really dropped the ball on difficulty though. They are a bit too easy and can be played through in a few hours. But games from dreamland to Super Star Ultra were most likely some of kirby's best games. The first 3 games in the series all introduced something.
Dreamland 1: It's fucking kirby. He can inhale and fly. pretty basic
Adventure: Added abilities and damn now thats a main stay.
Dreamland 2: Animal friends were introduced.

I don't think anyone down right hates kirby. Other than in smash. He's just kirby. Simple and enjoyable to look at. Shaped as a friend if you will.

I'm also looking at this from the perspective as a fan of the series. It was babies first video game for me. So I might be seeing this through rose-tinted glasses.

As cool as it would be to get another leak, just don't get over hyped for just text.

If leaker wants to back up their claims, some screenshots would help.
