There's probably some game that requires rumble, but I can't even think of any and don't really notice either way. If you want rumble, get a new controller ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My massive rom collection is not piracy. I am simply an archivist. Physical retro games are just going to deteriorate. My rom downloading will help keep these games alive for all time. You're welcome.

disagree. Without people playing obscure stuff, the rest of us wouldn't discover the extremely hidden gems. Also it's neat finding some obscure game that turns out to be awesome.

Example: Super Bombliss for SNES. Never heard of it, nobody talks about it, randomly found and played it, loved it. The background aesthetics are cozy as hell too

I'd rather just add popular games to my backlog and get around to them sooner or later.

>re: OP's post, just pick a game totally at random (if it's in your backlog you probably got it for a reason right?) or think of a genre you like but haven't played in awhile?

This post is extremely relevant to my interests.

Anything that feels like LARPing life in japan is just so comfy. Harvest Moon games mostly count but aren't particularly "Japanese" vibes (besides having anime-looking characters I guess?). But anything that captures that feeling of "Just chilling in Japan" is awesome. Rural or urban, modern or near-past era Japan is super aesthetic.

And in video game form you don't need to worry about the soul-crushing work culture and other real life issues of Japan :D

It's weird to me how everyone says OoT is overrated. For a 1998 game it is incredible even today.

It's gotta be at least like the 3rd best Zelda game to this day even if you ignore the influence/impact of it and just play the game in a vaccuum with no context of how big a deal it was at the time.
