On mind, the plastic bit on the top broke within a month. So all there was of the stick was a thin metal bar that'd poke into your skin. I always played that controller using gloves when a friend controller while they got the Nintendo one. As long as I had the gloves on, it fine. Still a piece of shit, though. Even the madcatz one lasted longer.
