James isn't inherently bad at skits or jokes that aren't directly related to the game.

He's bad when he explains jokes ("I'M DROPPING F-BOMBS") or pretends really bad slapstick with fuckwords is funny (the Crazy Castle video)

He's good when using cinematography for good comedic effect (the Mr. Bucket video, the Jekyll & Hyde movie trailer) or just has a straight up charming script (the Ninja Gaiden video)

Looking at cringey fat fuck Moviebob's attempts to imitate James' "funny, so-bad-it's-good" effects really highlights how James has actual film-making knowledge and even his most retarded shit gives regard to things like shot composition.
