I have small-med sized hands and while I don't have experience with the steam deck, I did have the Rog Ally for a time. I can say that a device can have the best ergonomics in the world, but the problem is still going to be the weight. If you're holding a literal brick in your hand it won't feel good no matter what. It wasn't really a problem when sitting up straight and gaming on me lap, but if I wanted to lean to the side or lean back, it made my elbows sore. I also found I couldn't take one hand off to rest since then the weight gets focused too much on the other hand. Don't even try to game in bed and holding it up it will kill you.

I know Steamies like to insist the Deck has perfect ergonomics so there's no problem, but keep in mind the Rog Ally is over 80 grams lighter too.
