This sums up why I went for this sytem afterall, I recall a thread last year using it, and a bunch of unique titles got in, that we rarely saw in other top 100 lists, it's more about who gets there first over what's more popular, more fun and exciting.

Well, /vr/ picked this list. I know there's a lot of popular stuff out and a lot of controversial stuff in, but that's the fun of it, this isn't a copy of all other top 100 lists that journalists repost every other year with nothing out of the ordinary in it.

I get taking out stuff like Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing! and Freddi Fish 3 for considering them a joke pick, but to me this was a bit too much, a lot of the titles taken out are stellar video games a few fans were glad to see make their 1st 100 list.

Sonic's Genesis titles are superb though. I get not wanting to see the 8-Bit stuff in a top 100, but the classic trilogy being in makes sense still.
