I love the original Xbox's menu and bios. The startup animation, the floaty 3D menus, the transitions, the sounds. So ethereal, so creepy. I'm disappointed that 20 years later there's still no skin for Evox/UnleashX/XBMC that perfectly mimics the look and behavior of the stock dashboard.

Got an original Xbox recently and I was wondering how I could get the best image out of it on my 4k. I'm not expecting miracles here, I originally was rolling with the composite cable it came with, but upgraded to a component cable put through an HDMI converter. This looks pretty good but has some issues mostly with shit being so dark, and all the lines in the picture. Was thinking about getting an mclassic or mcable, anyone have any experience with this?

I'm getting some slight color banding on my FS100
is there anything on the service menu I can adjust to fix it?
I couldn't take a pic of it but it looks kinda like pic related (minus the blocks of course)
its not really noticeable outside of certain dark gradients but I would really prefer if it wasn't there
