Why is this game so beloved again? There are so many better FF games than this, and so many better JRPGs in general. I think the people who love it feel that way because of nostalgia - maybe this was your first FF game and on a brand new system at the time and it blew your mind? I don’t know. I’d rather play XIII and even that game is one long corridor for the most part, but at least it’s more fun and has better music. Who else feels how I do?

this is one of the best rpgs ever made and is often overshadowd by 6 or 7. it’s perfect in every way

Is there any mod for any version of this game which makes it so that the entire party gets AP from battles?
It was just needlessly tedious to swap out party members for boss fights and have them take an action so they can keep up. It's also a step back because by the PS2 era reserve party members getting at least partial exp was the norm but no, not FF10, reserve gets zero.

I've come to realize I have a massive infatuation with box arts. I probably spent dozens of hours looking at my game boxes. It's probably for that reason that I look at something like this and, even though I can emulate every one of those games I still really want the real copies.
Especially those GBC. They were so fucking aesthetic
