Something made me constantly go back to this game as a kid.. it was so weird and unique but so satisfying when you progressed.

The game boys had such underrated gems.
Wario land 3 and 4 are also games that I consider almost flawless. Some of the best platformers ever made.

Not only is it perfect, but it built upon everything that made the previous game great, which is rare to see nowadays. Usually in games your character can be killed... Not here.. Not Wario Land 3. I love these games! I've played 30-some Mega Man games and the Legends games remain my favorites. It's too bad the have created a hole in my soul that will never be filled.

I like Wario Land 3 a lot. Every time I do my periodic replay of the series, this is the one I look forward to the most and I'm always so sad (well not really sad but) when I close in on the last few treasures and finish the game.

I've got the game just for you OP

I'm replaying WL3 and remembering how great the levels and bosses are. I think 2 and 3 are the best in the series because of the unique gimmick of Wario being immortal, so you get punished in other ways for fucking up, like getting sent out of boss areas or having to redo areas of a level due to the severe knockback when you get hit. Only level which has been bad so far is that bridge where you dodge fish, but I love the day/night changes, the fact that you revisit levels to find more treasure, and that levels work around your power-ups in order to find new treasures, expanding on WL2's open-ended ideas where some levels can branch if you find a hidden exit that alter the story completely, and giving you even more reasons to revisit past stages. The golf minigame is pretty fun too. Music doesn't seem as memorable as the other Wario games in 3, though.

It's really just too good.

Does anyone else think it was the best in the series? the open world exploration, inability to die and treasure collecting all really lent themselves to it becoming one of my favorite games of all time. sure, it has a couple of weak points, but I think it's the strongest Wario game and it's always the first that comes to mind when he's mentioned. I'm still holding out for another sequel in its style.

Currently I am having a nostalgia attack. I am playing a videogame from my childhood. I am at a friends house and we are both in college, but I feel compelled to stay the night and play this vidya untill the alcohol in my body puts me to sleep.
For suture reference though what is the most appropriate way to deal with a nostalgia attack?

What's the best game on the GBC? I'm pretty sure it's this one.

Playing this right now. I like the game but it would have been much better if I could go through the levels the way I want right from the beginning. That means also having my powers right from the start.
