what would the perfect human form look like /tg/?

>> No.71572459

There is no one perfect form. For example, the ideal soldier race would be a 7 foot tall muscular and stoic race of almost sociopaths who nonetheless form strong bonds with each other and their assistants. The assistants to these soldiers would be 5 foot tall androgynous cutebois with eternally optimistic personalities who make sure that the logistics of the army run smoothly. Different forms for different roles.

Realistically, varied on the environmental & job context. If we follow setting like Eclipse Phase or GURPS bio-tech the default package will be genetic modification for immunity to most common diseases and injuries, but from there it would be the work of specialized needs (Gills for aquatic environment, grasping appendages and bone density for zero-z, and so on).

Different environments would call for different forms. The perfect Alpine form is different from the perfect Aquatic form which is different from the perfect Arid form which is REALLY different from the perfect Martian form. And so on.

And even then you'd have a lot of value judgements in terms of what "perfect" or "superior" actually means. Different solutions for the same problems. Like, if the goal was "protect the vital organs" you might see one group with multiple redundant organ systems, one that encases the torso in thickass armor, and one that reduces tissue rejection to the point that organs can be hot-swapped.

I'm 6'3" and weigh 230lbs in pure muscle, nerd. I have a confirmed IQ of 150, and once made the AI supercomputer, Deep Blue, spontaneously combust during a chess game.

I may also have latent psionic abilities, but that yet remains to be seen, as I am currently doing a study on myself using hitherto unknown technologies that I've had to personally develop, as the technological progress being made at Harvard was seriously frustrating me.

I also made 4chan as a joint government psyop, with m00t as my pawn. I later plan to double cross the government and turn 4chan into its own nation once I swindle Finland out of their national reserves during the Covid-19 debacle, which I've personally orchestrated.

So call me a fat neckbeard ONE MORE TIME; I fucking DARE you. Who knows. Maybe you'll wake up the next morning in a far-off laboratory, being used for semen milking to see if I can create a new race of Felid/Sapien hybrids.

>spine redesigned for multiplane, looser interlocking to minimize disc slippage and broken vertebrae, supported by densely-wrapped muscle; spine is similar to a snake
>tail is subtly restored as a flexible coccyx that can expand and contract the hips

You'd change your bodies like you change your clothes today, depending on the purpose of the activity you want to do. Wealthy people would change forms depending on the fashion (right now it would be thicc, in 90s they'd go with heroine chic), poor people would have work mule gorilla form or code money octopuss with 8 arms.
Personally, I'd go with fluffy frame that allows me to enjoy all the pleasures of sci-fi life.

Actually, looking at average OPERATOR height optimal soldier height seems to be 5'10ish give or take an inch or two. Then again you'd probably have differing physical specializations, with special forces and regular infantry meeting different requirements, also doubt all POGs would benefit from being 5' twinks, even if a lot of grunts could claim it wouldn't make a difference in their line of work, dudes in the physical end of logistics could benefit from being built refrigerators. Tall dudes tend to lug lots of shit around easier than manlets, as the weight makes comparatively less of his total weight. But being a stocky manlet comes with the advantage of finding cover better.

In my setting organic humans basically went the way of All Tomorrows turning into a bunch of weird human subspecies with their own traits, advantages, disadvantages ect while the ones who turned themselves into robots have a near-religious reverence for the human form, such that even thousands of years in the future many outwardly resemble the original species of humans on earth. In their eyes, they are the preservers of the original human existence and the true direct lineage of mankind, but do not look down on the new human species, rather seeing them as forging their own legacies instead. However, they will definitely get pissed if one of them does try to claim they're more closely linked to baseline humanity than the machines are.
