Maya is a whimsical little puppeteer. With her effort and latent spiritual power, she took up puppets as her medium. She often uses them for everything; be it for fighting, for entertainment or even as her practical little servants. Maya and her self-sewn puppets might as well be one entity.

She roams the world with his interdimensional quasi-guardian, Eythor and two other magical girls. She does not pay attention to the impulse as much as her comrades, but she does her duties all the same. She is compliant when absolutely needed, but she is otherwise a little lazy and would prefer to either sleep or befriend souls, bodied or not, with impromptu puppet shows.

Chosen by the Puchuu after the vampire Emilia Rouge made short work of the previous Magical Girls sent out to subdue it, Laura lucked out with having gained powers suitable enough to allow her to hold her own against the mysterious vampire. She is aided in her task of hunting down and eliminating the vampire by the Memphis sisters, two veteran magical girls who've survived their encounter with Emilia.
At a height of 5'5, with brown eyes and plain brown hair, she's not exactly the most discernible person in a crowd. Though able to socialize normally with different people, she prefers to keep to herself. Around friends and familiar faces though, she becomes much more chatty.
Like in her old life, Laura is a fan of traditionally nerdy stuff like video games and arguing on internet forums. When she isn't out patrolling or training her powers, she'll most likely be at her magical laptop.
When transformed, she dons a white and violet armored dress consisting of a gothic dress covered by armored plates, gauntlets, and a corset with her hair tied into a ponytail with a comically large bow-tie.
Her weapon of choice is a small shield and a one-handed warhammer. In combat, Laura prefers using areas of strong gravity to pin an enemy down in one place, while she increases the weight of her hammer to smash down with great force. Combined with her special shadow clone power, she can overwhelm even a large group of tough opponents
She also fancies trying out unorthodox uses for her powers, such as antigravity flight, makeshift mass accelerators, and even small black holes, though they come at the cost of heavy mana depletion.

According to the Puchuu, Emilia Rouge was one of the first attempts at magical girls on this world. Something went wrong however, and the abomination that resulted fled into the city's underworld.
Magical girls were sent after it as per standard procedure. However, the girls dispatched failed to report back. The Puchuu began to get concerned,and started contracting more girls to take care of this threat. Time and time again however, Emilia has proven too powerful and too cunning for everyone sent after it. The Memphis sisters were the last magical girls dispatched after it, and have been the only ones to survive their encounter with the vampire.
According to the Sisters, Emilia takes the form of haggardly dressed female hobo plying the city's alleys and shantytowns. Solitary hobos seemed to have been it's most common victims. Whent the sisters confronted the abomination, it instantly transformed into its elegantly dressed, golden-eye, clawed, and winged vampire form. Emilia moved and struck with almost unimaginable speed and ferocity, quickly wearing down on the sisters with the sheer amount of strikes the vampire made with its clawed hands.
It was only through the near suicidal burst of power by one of the sisters that allowed them to escape the vampire's wrath, at the cost of perilously depleting their powers and rendering them unable to fight for a time.
Emilia Rouge is considered to be a high-priority, highly dangerous target, and utmost caution is to be taken when dealing with it.

A torigami is a tall, gangly monster. Standing at over 6 foot tall, their legs take up a nearly 4 feet of that. In spite of their height, they often appear shorter as they walk hunched over. They have long, beak noses. Their eyes are overly wide and circular, and they never blink. Their arms are freakishly short, ending in small, intelligent hands. They often hide these features by wearing long robes to make their arms appear longer and their legs shorter.

They most often are found near shallow bodies of water, along roads, or near forests. The torigami is one of the most social with humans. However, this doesn't mean they're good at it. Their harsh voices, appearance, and speech patterns repulse most.

But, don't tell a torigami that. They're excessively vain creatures. Damaging a torigami's ego is, for any unfortunate human, a fatal mistake.

Once scorned, the torigami begins to stalk the offending party. It will often times call in an entire flock for this purpose. They follow their prey at every hour of the day. At night, they perch outside their window in the the trees. With eyes which never blink, they stare. As time goes on, it turns to outright harassment. Property is damaged, pets go missing, family members and friends are threatened and attacked. Nights are sleepless as they prowl just outside the house, leaving scratches in walls and on windows.

At some point, the torigami will decide that the victim now has "character." His flock will approach one more time, and ask the victim what he thinks of the torigami's face. Answer correctly, and they leave, forever. Answer wrong, and the torigami drag the victim back to their nest.

There, they teach the offender the torigami's idea of beauty. Methodically folding the victim's body, joints back against joins, bones snapping, they form the victim into a human crane. The effigy to torigami beauty complete, they deposit the body into the water as another unexplained drowning.

Theseans are living humans possessed by replacement body parts. These foreign body parts are grafted on when a human mind, wandering the Overcity in dreams, strays too close to the home of a certain necromancer. They are caught by other Theseans, strapped down, and operated upon. Most commonly, the teeth are the first things replaced. Teeth are easy to come by in the catacombs from which parts are harvested.

Upon awaking, the person remembers a frightening dream, but nothing of its subject. When they sleep again, these new parts lead them back. It's a weak tug at first, but, as more and more parts are replaced, it becomes irresistible. The magic nature of their bodies even dragging them into the Overcity while awake.

With bones, most muscles, and teeth replaced, they effectively become a slave. Because of the difficulty of finding fresh organs, it's rare for a full conversion to be made. Most live a life trapped inside their own bodies. While rebellion is beyond their reach, the few parts still under their control limits their usefulness. As a result, they're mostly meatshields or sentries.

The smell of coffee and sweets fills your nostrils as you enter the cafe, the sound of casual chatter filling your ears. The room is dimly lit and tastefully decorated, rich, dark wood floors complementing the deep colors of the walls and upholstery. This is the notorious Ahnenerbe cafe, the casual hang-out spot for all magical girls. Although some have speculated that Ahnenerbe intersects different worlds due to some of the different stories each of the girls tell, none have been able to prove it, and the staff, though friendly, refuse to comment on the issue. The only thing for certain is that Ahnenerbe is a neutral ground between magical and monster girls, and that this is dutifully enforced by powerful magic affecting the area. Those in violation simply disappear, transported back to their homes. This is Ahnenerbe, the home of the best coffee and cake in the multiverse.

Tessie La Croix was driving home from college to enjoy another wonderful weekend shitposting on the internet and eating generally delicious pasta. Natalie is for all intents and purposes a very dual natured girl. When she’s not out fighting monsters and generally being one of the most bad ass magical girls this side of the pacific, she’s attending school as the local wall-flower. Underdeveloped for her age she’s too nervous about being bullied by the popular girls to come out of her shell, she hides herself in oversized clothing and behind a mess of brown hair that is rarely if ever combed properly. Secluding herself to the one place that the popular girl clique refuses to go, the Science Labs, where she spends most of her time reading and avoiding the gaze of mouth breathing nerds.

On the flipside though when she does transform she becomes a lot more outgoing, emboldened by the fact that anyone who makes fun of her washboard chest could at any moment be zapped into a pile of ash. As Bolt she’s a total wildchild, all about sex, drugs, and rock and roll. The Bendatto is a small, furred monster. They're shaped like bats, but with elongated wings and a smaller body. Their fur is marked with four small yellow circles. They are invisible and intangible to the non-magically sensitive.

They are parasites that nest in the rafters of shops in the Overcity. They wait for customers to pass underneath them, and bend or look down to examine a product, exposing their neck to the Bendatto. They then detach from the ceiling and wrap their wings around the customers neck, biting into their neck.

The bite of a Bendatto is painless and does not draw blood, it instead bites into the soul. Symptoms may not be noticeable immediately, but the victim will be compelled to recommend the store where they were infected to others, and they themselves will return to the store much more frequently than before.

The Bendatto absorbs their victims energy over time, growing fatter. Once it has absorbed enough energy, it compels it's victim to return to the store once more, then divides into many more smaller Bendatto and damaging the psyche of the victim.

Bendatto are extremely weak and can be simply crushed in the hand of even the weakest magical girl, and can destroy themselves when attempting to infect a strong or magically inclined magical girl. Their bites do not affect magical girls in the same way, instead drawing blood as a real bat would and do not affect the mind.

They are treated as pests, and magical girls are sometimes brought in to clear out active infestations.

There are no fugitive magical girls. This is much more 'Wild West' in terms of justice and peacekeeping. Puchuu and the very powers of the magical girls incentivize them to destroy the unnatural, but they aren't forced to. Any magical girl can choose to tell the Puchuu to fuck off, ignore the duty they are charged with, or even outright help monsters and there's no magic police that are going to show up and charge you with a crime.

However if you choose to help monsters, you absolutely will come into conflict with other magical girls just because you're protecting things they want to kill. If you choose to torment normal people and abuse your powers, justice minded girls may seek you out and kill you, and the critters may offer coins to their magical girls to seek you out and kill you.

Someone harboring the target of a bounty is not necessarily 'in trouble' but the girls after a bounty or trying to bring them to justice may not be terribly concerned about their well-being.

Tezan was an oddity of an opponent, a screw up by the powers that be left this monster girl without a motive but survival, and survive she did going under cover and remaining so for some time only to surface several cities away where she now makes her base of operations. While some of the mosnter girls seem either driven by evil, revenge, or mere survival, Tezan's motives seem confusing and contridictory, with the largest growing evidence showing that she is running some form of a magical protection racket on normals.

None the less she is still a threat and over the course of several months multiple magical girls had been sent after her. Their results had been less than impressive, it seems that instead of facing her they were redirected or led to another group of dangerous monsters which they were forced to defeat instead. On the moment after defeating the monsters Tezan showed herself, delivering several freezing strikes on the weakened girls to take them out of the fight before questioning them. , only ambushing them the moment those monsters are finished through a heavy use of ice attacks to leave them too frozen to act, in which case she will fully drop the illusion only to question their motives before knocking them all out and making her escape.

The Survivors reported that she seemed depressed and reacted negatively to the realization that they were on to her.

Earth basically is necromancy. There's no powers that are specifically verboten to magical girls. What is disallowed is creating a bunch of intrusive mystical shit. you want to call up a spirit or empower a skeleton? Do it out of sight of the normals and and put it away when you are done. The charge of magical girls according the CYOA is to eliminate the unnatural and sources of chaos. If your magical girl happens to make skeletons or drain the life force from opponents or whatever, no skin of the noses of the critters so long as you keep it on the down low and don't leave creations to run around where normals can see them.

Likewise, keep in mind that as magical girls, your powerset is optimized for finding evil/chaotic things and blowing them to smithereens. You are a combat brute, regardless of what your spec is, and soft arts like making permanent minions are probably not in your repertoire unless you are a Flower/Earth specialization.

Not to say you couldn't learn some outside sorcery of some sort, but it wouldn't be your default power set and that's something you'd need to seek out and put effort into learning.

Grace isn't showy or loud in the way that many magical girls are. She doesn't use a weapon, and she doesn't have the superhuman speed or strength many of them do. She's quiet, soft-spoken, and passive to a fault.

What she is very, very good at though is listening. So many magical girls are angry, or sad, or scared at the position they're in. Grace understands that, even if she finds it easy to take those feelings, and put them aside, boxing them up where they won't get in the way. She's calm where they need calm, understanding where they just need someone to talk to, and has a knack for always being in the right place at the right time. She likes to be around others, at the edge of crowds or just out of sight, and to let the flow of excess emotion wash over her.

Okay, this looks okay, but it needs work.
The first chapter is the strongest of the lot, it has a flow and sense of direction that the other seem to lack. As said before, there is a feeling of choppiness to some of the sentences. This only makes itself more apparent in the later chapters.
The combat scenes you have could use a look over. Although I feel like you have a good idea of what you want to say, you're just skipping some steps. And you jump between description and dialogue to generalization and time skips without much transition.

Over all looks like it has a good foundation, but you could use some revision on the structure.

Sailor Moon? Sorta? The one woman war on the Dark Kingdom is merely alluded to in SM canon rather than outright shown. Sailor Venus is active as Sailor V for a couple years before the main show starts. Moon's iron commitment to her friends doesn't get showcased all that often, but usually comes out at least once a season.

Reading the manga is WAY faster, but you lose some of the gradual character development when you skip over the monster of the week stuff and some of the filler arcs that don't even exist in the manga. That said, it's also 90's as FUCK. The art is passable but unimpressive, since it had to deal with a limited budget like everything else and there is some really fucking extensive use of stock footage in transformation and attack sequences. Be prepared for some really stupid plots.

The dub is horrendous and source of a bunch of unintentional comedy if you're into that sort of thing. There was a recurring segment at the end of an episode (Sailor Moon Says!) that ranges from incredibly silly to straight up mind-numbing. They couldn't have actual lesbians on screen, so they called Uranus and Neptune cousins, and then failed to cut any of their constant closeness, and I'm pretty sure they didn't cut some of the scenes of them kissing, so if you want to giggle over censoring lesbians by making them incestuous lesbians, that's a thing.

Keep in mind this is all for the original series. I've barely seen any of the live action stuff and none of the new Crystal remake.

I mean, it's definitely worth looking into, but I dunno if you want to go binge watch it. It's kind of like binge-watching Scooby Doo. The episode format is practically identical for 80% of the episodes, which gets really boring, but you get to learn little things about the characters around the side and there is an actual overarching plot so there are end of season multi-episode runs that are full of magical girl action and less monster-of-the-week stock plots.

Well some of the villains are kind of funny or have some ridiculous over the top antics.

Never thought I'd see the day a villain hands out business cards before a fight till I watched that show.

Another reason its interesting is it showed that Magical Girls can apparently sell out to Dark Powers for either selfish reasons or to save their own skin (not that those can't be one in the same).

I like it, but then I have firm nostalgia goggles because of it's status as of one of the two shows that got me into anime as a kid.

I think the story is decent - it's not a patch on a lot of later stuff - it's no Cowboy Bebop, or Evangelion, but it's fun to watch through and there's no points where you stare at the screen and go 'but what about X that happened last episode?' or 'I don't understand what's happening.' The story is inevitably 'Batch of evil guys appear, they need to (something something) in order to (something evil). They deploy monsters every week to accomplish (part of something something) The Senshi show up and blow up the monster and occasionally learn more about the enemy. Season finale is a confrontation with the BBEG(s). If you're cool with the formula, go watch it. If nothing else it's one of the founders of the mahou shojo genre and you pick up where a bunch of the tropes come from. If you're really on the fence about it, read some of the manga. All the arcs are shortened with no filler, and the story is largely the same minus a few filler villains and arcs.

Moira's always on the run from someone or other.

Blonde, sharp features, appearance-wise comparable to a living statue in terms of how unnatural her appearance is thanks to "fallen angel" and eternal style. White robe-like costume with gold armor. Has silvery wings, almost as long as her arm. Seemingly feather-like at a glance, a closer look suggested something almost polished or crystalline about the way they shone.

Just wants somewhere to settle down and stay out of trouble- and being a fallen angel means she causes it.

Depends on Magical Girl specializations. A sufficiently high magic Gravity spec could space-launch or singularity him, and he's just just a fast, regenerating lizard. Dump him in the black and he's no longer a problem, crush him into a single point and there's nothing to come back from unless his regeneration is conceptual in nature.

Sufficiently high MAG girls of other specs could contain or destroy him in various ways, though it's unlikely most of them would stick. Vaporization via Fire or Light spec, maybe. Darkness has a low shot at working, but with a thousand girls a 1/10 chance at instant death is gonna hit at least once - and since the non-Gravity specs are conceptual as well as physical, that's probably truedeath, not 'it stops it's heart for a bit.'

I'm going to give the win to the thousand girls. There's too many ways for them to hold him down or hem him in so that the actual killers can bring the big guns to bear.

Yeah, but the vast majority of experiments are pretty limited in firepower. There are a lot of experiements that go 'we tried cutting it up with a laser, and it got better.' 'We tried using an SCP on it that beat the shit out of it. It got better' 'We tried using a wish-granting/vanishing SCP on it, it didn't have enough power/refused/brought it back.'

I suppose though, after reading through the attempted kill-log that singularity is off the table since SCP-536 caused it to restructure itself into neutron matter.

Given that SCP-682 survives a lot of really bizarre shit, I'm going to guess that it's fundamental powerset is 'existence' with a side order of adaptation and regeneration. Death effect from the Darkness girls still might work as a permanent end, but it's iffy. I still say space-launching him into the deep black is an effective mission kill and works though.

What the thousand MGs really need is for girls with the power of friendship to repeatedly "defeat" (kill off) 682 until the effect catches for a couple of minutes, and use that time to talk it into staying gone when the Gravity girls space it.
