Your new employer is The Necromancer.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Your muscles ache, your throat is hoarse and you don't think you could so much as crawl 5 more paces without throwing up. You wouldn't feel so miserable if it was the result of a night of raucous drinking and merry-making with your fellows, but it isn't.
A forced march over 3 days, covering a distance that would take most units 5. And half-rations on top of that? The words cruel and inhumane spring to mind, though considering who you're working for now...
At least you have the day off to recover, you think. The Sergeant implied it anyway...sort of.
>You know what they say, ain't no rest for the wicked.
>Gods no please, just 5 more minutes of sweet, sweet oblivion.

I have re-read the first 3 books relatively recently so yes. I'd like to clarify that I am inspired by the Black Company books but this quest is certainly not in the same setting as them.
I apologise if it came across that it was going to be faithful to the original work, I simply don't think I could pull that off.
