My local group knows two RPG's, D&D and Dungeon World. yes we all know you think this is either the worst or the best game ever. Let's not go into it, nobody want's to have this pointless discussion again.
Both classic fantasy, humans, elves, dwarves, fighters, rogues, rangers, wizards,... same old same old. The mechanical focus of both games is different, but most GM's in my social group houserule them until they almost play the same. I'm not even exaggerating that much, it's insanity.
I want to introduce them to something different. A lot different in fact. Tell me about all the RPG's you love that are completely different from the cliché fantasy RPG, both mechanically and thematically. Bonus points if they are even hardly RPG's anymore.
For example, I've played some Dread, a horror RPG that is played by pulling from a yenga-tower. Pdf's welcome.
