Any particular long-term experiences or thoughts about Propranolol? There were quite some people on it here in the past.
Been on it for almost one year, usually x2 40mg daily, initially for tremor but it's keeping down my anxiety too.. even I feel like its benefits are slowly decreasing.

bump for interest

also why would you take it every day? I don't know much about standard treatment practice with it but I remember reading an article where it cured phobias after only being used a few times. Why not as needed?

I'm considering asking my Dr for it for anxiety. How much does it effect aerobic and anaerobic exercise for you?

I tried to stop for some time a few months ago. Essential tremor and anxiety returned after a few days. Don't know about the phobia treatments, but I do know it is used on post-trauma/PTSD subjects.

I'm not into physical exercises, but they are recommended, like with every other drug. Never had any problem with fatigue, but tough cardio exercises might be harder, since it's still a beta-blocker. I never noticed anything.
80mg/day should be enough for anxiety, so I wouldn't worry about it unless you have some heart-related problems.

Eh, there are better beta blockers and if you have social anxiety, I'd recommend something like sertraline instead.

My doctor gave it to me but I never took it because my heart rate is in the low 40s due to cardio.

The penis thing only lasts for a week or two.

Definitely does not. I'm not the guy from earlier (not a tranny at all) but I was on escitalopram, another SSRI, for a total of 10 days only. Decided to stop it because I was experiencing major side effects including complete loss of sex drive. Even after being off the drug and not on anything else, it took over 7 months for me to ever fap again because I had barely any feeling in my dick and 0 sexual interest in anything. I'm pretty much back to normal now luckily.

Sertraline and a few others SSRI are kind of overkill unless you're in a bad depression status, they can fuck you bad for some time.
