Hey /sci/

So we know that when trying to mesh prosthetics or implants with flesh tissue, the body can reject the implants.

But is there a term for when the two are successfully meshed?

I'm talking more about the process or a scientific term that would fit in "X has been achieved"

Doesn't hurt to do some googling.
I gave up after a minute but I guess the term "graft" would help

High Biocompitability. Or perhaps biointegration.

Rejection only really happens with other living tissue. But even things such as silicone catethers will eventually be encapsulated with fibrous tissues and other biological reactions that isolates it via some barrier.
