Hey /sci/
Quick summerfag question.
I have just acquired a two-liter bottle of Canada Dry Ginger Ale.
My roommates can't be trusted with it if I leave it in the fridge.
So here's my question:

Is it possible to keep the Canada Dry cool by leaving the bottle in front of a box fan (pic-related) on the highest setting?

I doubt it will work, but I wonder what you guys think...

No, it would keep it at the temperature of the air that is blowing. A fan will only accelerate cooling of an object that is higher than ambient temperature.

Put a block of ice or something else frozen behind the fan though, and that's another story.
