They sort of do this already. Sewage goes to a wastewater treatment plant. They incinerate it in large containers which separates the liquid into a nearby stream and the dries husks of the previous poop are now broken down and sent somewhere to make a pile. Not sure how rich it would be for growing stuff though

It's how farms were fertilized well into the 19th century. The problem with modern day sewage is it's full of hormones, so you would need a method for removing them.
