I often worry about being reincarnated and re-experiencing the horrors of reality again and again. Or also somehow becoming immortal and experiencing this one lifetime eternally.

But I realized that perhaps this is not distinguishable from a finite, singular lifespan and perhaps this should offer solace. There are only finitely many neurons in the brain capable of experiencing finitely many mental states, so an infinite lifespan, or an infinite sequence of finite lifespans, cannot be distinguished from a finite lifespan (even if particularly horrible). And there is a finite amount of matter in our light-cone so only a finite number of neurons could ever be added to your brain. A sort of Neurological Compactness.

Nevertheless, it still feels obvious to me that an infinite lifespan or an infinite sequence of finite lifespans is still strictly worse than a single finite lifespan. Why is this? Also, does anybody know how to synthesize Nembutal at home?

Ah, that explains everything.

regardless of whatever philosophy you want to apply to the comparison between perspective experiences of finite vs infinite life, an infinite life would have more opportunity to experience bad things than the finite one. simple enough.

There is a progression of wisdom and understanding from one moment to the next. Lifetimes evolve in a similar way. You can't imagine now that you could handle being immortal, but your future more experienced with its existence might be able to handle the situation better than you can now. If you are a long term thinker, you would take steps to make your future better than today, and your future life better than your old life.

>Nembutal
Just travel to Mexico or Switzerland and get it. You can legally get assisted euthansisa in Switzerland and the entire process will only cost around $10K USD.
And if you can't afford ten thousand dollars then you're too young to be doing this and should focus on getting a job and savings instead.

How does that feel? Does it feel bad? If so, you are simply being punished for being such a flaming pseud. Consider changing your behavior.
