When you truly fathom the cartoonish-ness of the world debating whether or not men can get pregnant, you come to a deeply unsettling and enlightening realization that the human race is fucked intellectually. When media is a powerhouse of dishonesty and misinformation, you start to question what you already know in the world, and entertain the idea that maybe the human race is meant to be retarded and coordinated by peer/social pressure. Everyone is compromised.

Do I need to remind everyone that the person who proposed the washing of the hands before surgery got thrown into a mental asylum for thirty years? Where he later died from severe beatings? Not even two centuries ago.

Imagine what other retarded ideas are out there that the human race just blindly believes. Kind of like hating plants (cannabis) for nearly a century. Humans are a bunch of monkeys.

I have absolutely 0 hopes or fears regarding AI.
Its not going to happen like we think its going to happen. An artificial "intelligence explosion" is not a real thing. One day you'll have computers that do specific tasks extremely fast... and then they will hit the wall. What is the wall? For lack of a better word, its the noumena. Its all that nature cannot communicate to us. What we call intelligence, at least partially, lives and functions in this forbidden zone. Maybe the wall will be our narrow definition of intelligence and the diminished returns therein. Maybe it will be a true third ingredient of intelligent volition that will never be satisfied on a non-biological substrate.

Will we use our crude tools that we call intelligent against/for each other? Well yeah, of course, but I'm speaking more against the singularity/foom that people are wishing for/dreading. Its not just sci-fi, its fantasy.

the key problem here, is the setting up a problem in and of itself. An AI always works in well-defined space of functions and has a well-defined method of optimizing loss. Humans use the power of intuition, which is something beyond both logic and experience, but entails both.
