14723368 No.14723368 [Reply] [Original]

Jamie Oliver once encouraged all the women in the world to breastfeed their children, and was bombarded by all the women on social media, etc. One of the women said that she felt "inadequate" that she couldn't breastfeed her children and her feelings were hurt.
This got me wondering: how good is breastfeeding? Is it as healthy as Jamie Oliver says? Were the women right in saying that breastfeeding is wrong? I want a scientific answer here.

All of the research shows breastfeeding to be far and away superior for the child's long-term health.

Wet nurses for women who struggle to do it naturally are viable.

There should be a law that says any man can stop any woman they see in public and demand to be breastfed, regardless of whether they know that woman or whether or not she's lactating. If the woman is lactating then she shall receive monetary compensation for any milk the man has consumed at fair market price (using whole cow milk as the basis).

Just because something is natural, doesn't make it better. To assume that natural = healthy is a logical fallacy. Human milk won't necessarily have all the nutrients, especially if the mother herself is malnourished. Formula is made by experts and scientists with exactly the right amount of everything that an infant or toddler needs. All the proper nutrients, vitamins, minerals, etc.

Why am I aroused by watching women breastfeed babies?

>> No.14723885

>>14723368
Breastfeeding provides the right amount of calories to newborns. If the special case of low weight preterm or <2000g term baby shows up and the mom isnt producing enough milk, it can be suplementated with preterm formula but not substituted by it.

Breastmilk has IgA and some other shit that provides the baby with enough immunization to reduce rates of pneumonia, diarrhea and such as long as they are breastfed.

Women who feed the baby formula right from birth are at risk of giving the kid neonatal diarrhea and necrotizing enterocolitis, both from the lack of antibodies and the risk of preparing the formula the wrong way and giving the kid preparation they cannot digest in time.

Women who cannot breastfed have at their disposition human milk banks, wetnurses and so on, at the very least they are asked to provide breastmilk up to the 6 month of life when the nutritional requirements start to grow higher than what breastmilk provides. Only clear contraindications are pretty much Localized infection, chemo and radiotherapy. Even HIV if well managed should be able to breastfed. Women have no excuse.

>> No.14723904

>>14723861
He is right in part. Formula is not ideal since nobody can emulate the biologic properties of breastmilk, but going by nutritional requirements it needs to be supplementated by the 6th month of life for lack of iron and vitamin D, the pharma jews add right the right amount of micronutrients to formula so they can market it as an ideal feed.

women will be genetically modified to be very physically large (6'5"+) and thick, with large breasts that produce great volumes of high quality milk. They will super-ovulate, releasing several eggs each cycle so when impregnated, they always gestate a litter of babies, which their large size can support.
Men will be made small (~3'10"), lean, and highly athletic, requiring only a few hundred calories per day.
All the men and women will be very intelligent.

The women described will have no problems breastfeeding even litters of children. We don't need some type of breastfeeding campaign we are going to genetically engineer humans to be optimized regardless

It is one of the most natural things in the world. Many other mammals do it. Though it seems that many women easily develop a complex over doing it, especially if they cannot get it to work in the beginning. Having the first child can fuck them up mentally; they easily feel like failures and start resenting the mountain of advice that others give them. Others have selfish reasons for not doing it at all. It also seems many get put off by the sexual arousal they feel when nursing. It shouldn't be a surprise, as the nipples are an erogenous zone and almost always plays a part in foreplay and sex.

Surprisingly enough, cow's milk is about 2-3x more nutrient dense than human milk. For thousands of years mother's had no problem feeding copious amounts of cow's milk to their babies, but now mother's are scared of it, even with modern pasteurization.

There are two main problems with not breastfeeding:
(1) Milk is one of the most nutritious foods, and nature obviously intended babies to drink milk. Babies that don't drink milk will be fed goyslop with sneed oils, which is shown to cause autism and lack of oxytocin and smaller brain size - among numerous other horrible effects.

(2) There is some psychological factors about sucking on the mothers tits that bonds the baby to the mom, and bonds the mom to the baby. It releases oxytocin for the mom, and this causes her to be a much better mom, who is bonded to her kid. Kids who weren't breastfed are far more likely to resent their mothers as they grow older, and have strange autistic attitudes towards woman.
Sucking on tits is natures way of bonding children with mothers, and it's a huge mistake to avoid it.
