what is in question is not the measurement method of IQ tests but the statistical analysis of data derived from these tests and their integrity

a quick google search will show you how lynn and vanhanen literally picked the iq test for autists of some african country among many other things to skew the results down. both of them aren't reliable nor trust worthy just like 90% of people in social science. they start with their hypothesis for the sole purpose of proving it correct. there are no hard lines in soft sciences so they do it without any problem

They are valid, but only insofar as what IQ actually means.
If you did an IQ test with different weighting or different coverage your map would look different, and still be just as valid.
Africa would probably bottom out in most tests.

In Australia this is a hot button issue and universities are regularly censored for publishing findings that claim or even infer cognitive deficit in indigenous people.
Someone cries that substance abuse, poverty is a third variable- when you control for that variable they claim testing bias.
When you attempt to devise a test that Aboriginal people perform on par with the general population, you get a lot of support- but after a few months of finding that ebil white people beat aboriginals in their own tests you go back to marxist literature and writing columns for the papers
