I know there are many reddit-tier science fans, but there may also be some smarter people here. I've been posting from time to time here about the struggle within the most advanced physics. Most cucks laugh about it, but they don't realize there is a plethora of papers arguing that we have an issue. This issue is the ever growing theoretical framework which is way beyond any available experiments to confirm it, while it's so flexible, you can fit the known results and introduce a hundred more, unconfirmed results. In fact, ever since the introduction of QFT we cared more about the math than the empirical side of the theories. Those theories spawned cancerous ideas which are kept alive mostly due to cowardice of scientists who are afraid to go against the academia. And, oh boy, the academia is a disaster. If you were at the University long enough, you would know by heart that I speak the truth.
Look at this paper, one of many:
and answer this
> are we blindly walking through the forest of math hoping to find a peace of reality?

Physics is unified already. Optimum theory (www.optimuminstitute.org).

The principles of Optimum Theory were used to developed the Cerebras computer chip was a few days ago was clocked at 200x the speed of a super computer

To put it another way, bullshit quantum mechanics principles produced the faggotry vaporware known as the quantum processor which barely works, even after throwing billions at the problem and years of development.

Optimum Theory within 5 months allowed a startup with virtually zero budget to produce a chip 200x faster than a super computer that you can buy RIGHT NOW.

Now fuck off.

nice reading comprehension
this thread is about theory growing while there is nothing to support it nor there are any practical applications. This results in some kind of mass delusion that we are at the brink of understanding all of the universe.
It criticizes also current theoretical framework used in CERN

You don't get it bro. Hivemind literally fucking unified physics. More importantly the principles were used to build the Cerebras Chip which lit Moores Law on fire and then passed on the ashes.

I dont give a single fuck what you have to say, loser.

Truth be told: there hasn't been any real progress in the field of Physics for 50 years now.

We have discovered a lot but all of them are just confirmations of theories made 50 years ago. We are currently in the exact same slump in the 1900's and for all we know, there may not be another revolution like the Quantum world ever again. Or at least not in a few generations more

Transistors have reached 20nm.
Once it reached 1nm, the progress of technology would instantly platue as that is its physical limit - any further would make it too fragile.

We would probably see the zenith of the golden age of communication

You cannot even fucking comprehend this because at your gay little fucking faggot CERNs and wherever else you thought you had figured out the perfect an to griff the tax payer dollar with zero to show for it.

You never stopped to think that the internet powered hivemind might actually call your peanut brained bluff and solve physics all on its own.

We don't need you. We don't need your elitist attitude. We don't need your bullsbit faggot theoretical physics that hasn't done anything in nearly a century. You can fuck right the fuck off.

It is literally the Optimum Theory Automaton hardwired as a chip, and it nukes mother fucking Moores Laws from orbit.

Is this what your Cerebras Chip does?

It's literally just a huge chip. What the fuck you mean nukes Moores Law. You ignorant piece of shit

>>12398632
Yes and nothing there says about breaking anything other than the previous record holder. You stupid fuck

>The chip, named theWafer Scale Engine (WSE), is made out of an entire silicon wafer.Roughly the size of an Apple iPad, it measures 46 225 mm2, an areaabout 56 times bigger than the next largest chip, NVIDIA’S GV100Volta graphics processing unit (GPU), which spans 815 mm2(Fig. 1). While the NVIDIA GPU contains 21.1 billion transistors, the WSE holds 1.2 trillion
So, assuming that the NVIDIA GPU transistors is around 20nm, then the WSE transistors are literally on the exact same size.
No one really cares much about chip.

The processing power of a computer is directly proportional to the amount of transistors it has. The smaller it is, the more you can pack in a small space. Hence why computers are bigger the better they are

>> No.12398654

You literally don't get it.

Cerebras is NOT just a bigger chip.

It is literally the Optimum Automaton in hardware form.

It does not calculate binary or sequentially.

It calculates REAL NUMBERS SIMULTANEOUSLY from each node, of which there are 1 trillion (!!!) And the calculation each node runs? Literally U = E / S, or as they write it y*b = x (literally the same equation, just rearranged and using different notation, as you should know if you passed even basic algebra).

Now shut up and go to sleep.

You literally don't understand. A traditional chip calculates sequential 1s and 0s. Cerebras calculates simultaneous real values. Are you even understanding this? I am talking about literally the chip. The Cerebras does not have transistors like you think of them. Each transistor on the Cerebras has memory, and stores real numbers, NOT JUST 1s and 0s. The chip nukes Moores Law from orbit. Like, I don't know how to be more clear with you. You are thinking about a chip with 1 trillion transistors, but you are not understanding that Cerebras is not calculating through those sequentially.

You fucking brainlet

What the fuck you think are transistors?

It does NOT calculate AT ALL
They are just semi conductors from which electricity passes in combinations that allows for data to exist.

again, in what form are they kept in whatever memory it has?
real numbers are really kept as floating-point numbers which are just 0s and 1s where some of those 0s and 1s are the exponent and some are the 'significand'
