So at this point is a simple fact that they're incorporating seasonal flu cases into the general covid-19 statistics right?

>> No.12373984

OP, try using your brain. I'll guide you.
We're going through a pandemic right now, right? Certain measures have to be taken to get rid of it. What are those measures? I'll help: wearing masks, distancing, washing hands. I'll also give you another hint: health officials propose in every single flu season that we should wash our hands regularly and distance when we have symptoms.

Can you put the pieces together now, OP?

There are still cases so it's not nonexistent. Another key consideration, to add on to >>12374174 's points, is that COVID is more contagious than seasonal flu

most likely, yes.
at this point indeed, this thread should move to /pol/ since nothing related to covid has anymore any relation to medicine, public health, science or rational thinking at all.
it is all about other completely unrelated stuff.

oh yeah, put your mask etc

lockdowns policies are known to have been nafarious. e.g. spain and uk have arguably applied to what amounts as low level eugenics

Why would they do that? You're actually saying that all of these countries are running the flu tests, lying about the results, and then adding them to the COVID-19 positive list (including the countries in the Southern Hemisphere which showed the same low positivity rate during their flu season)? I think it's much more likely that the measures implemented to slow SARS-CoV-2 are very effective at preventing influenza.

Also, the CDC is still tracking flu deaths as well, so there's no reason for them to ignore flu deaths altogether when they could simply list influenza and COVID-19 on the death certificate:

Yeah because the same people that die in those ways also die from COVID. Fucking moron. There are people who were not going to die from COVID but who will die from those causes, people who were not going to die from those causes and did die from COVID, and people who were going to die from those causes but died from COVID instead. The third group will reduce the number of deaths from other causes but overall deaths will still increase.
