IQ is just a tool to meassure skill like memory and speed to make to solve problems
I have brain fog therefore I seem dumb but im just slow doesn't mean I cant think about stuff people with higher IQ (skill) have never thought about

What is it that they actually want?
Overconsumption and poverty cannot simultaneously be an issue.
Which is it?
If over-consumption is the issue, you solve it by making lowering people's ability to consume => making them poorer.
If poverty is the problem, you solve it by making people richer => making them more able to consume.

Anyone who simultaneously claims that capitalism*** is failing because of simultaneous poverty and over-consumption immediately loses the argument.
>But poor people are in poverty, and rich people are doing all the consuming
Except they aren't. Rich people get and stay rich by investing, not consuming. Currently, the most profitable investments are in dumb consumer trash for dumb consumers, precisely because dumb consumers have so much purchasing power. The consumers are the ones making the rich people rich, if they were too poor, it would be so profitable to market dumb consumer shit towards them.
The problem is and will always be low IQ high time preference types such as dudebros, whores, niggers, junkies, etc.
If these are the people you have to work with, it literally doesn't matter what "the system" is, just like how changing "the system" that chimps live under isn't going to suddenly make them industrialize.
If people lack the self control to not spend money on dumb shit in a market, then they lack the self control to not vote for dumb shit if it's allocated democratically.

***This is literally a meme term in and of itself.
If regulatory nationalist monarchies and free market globalist democracies are both "capitalism", then "capitalism" is a meaningless term, and thinking in terms of "capitalism" and "anti capitalism" is basically the economic equivalent of
>Everything is a thing doing stuff
>This describes everything
>Therefore it's a theory of everything
>QED

So rich people spending my monthly budget for food in one meal or buying a car worth more than my entire life earnings isn't consuming?

Nope. The value of your life and time is nothing compared to the work of the industrious. Total consumption is only a healthy percent of their means, likely something less than 1% a year in total. Houses and Cars and many other things are tools, and investments. Some of it appraises for adoration from some, apparently emasculation for a repugnant sap such as yourself. A meager $30k meal is nothing when brokering a deal to shake the world, or at least some corner of it. Recalibrate your vision, utility is advantageous and all the better if it isn't brokered by necessity!

>Luxury goods
These are negligible.
The price of luxury goods comes primarily from the fact that they are luxury goods, and thus it isn't actually accounting for greater resource usage. A $10,000 jacket isn't using 100 times as much material as a $100 jacket, most of the extra cost exists purely because people are willing to pay for the brand, and people are willing to pay for the brand because it it allows them to signify status.

Outrage over luxury goods is largely just outrage over discrepancies in status, and status competition is largely a consequence of sexual liberalism.
If rich people aren't actually consuming more food, just higher priced or more labor intensive food, then they aren't actually contributing to real resource waste, they are just wasting money, which is a subjective construct, and labor, which will never run out so long as people exist.

Meaningful unnecessary consumption, of the kind that risks depleting the world's supply and creating mass pollution, is almost entirely from mass market goods, and producing unnecessary mass market goods is profitable because of the behavioral standards of the masses. The behavioral standards of the masses create the "environment" that business practices are "evolving" in.

Both can be a problem at the same time.
>Boomers who buy new cars every 2 years and constantly renovate their McMansions are overconsuming.
>Homeless people who can't afford more than 1 meal a day are poor.
It's almost like making the boomers poorer and the homeless richer, both these problems could be solved simultaneously.

Obviously iq is very important but it's not the be all end all. Lots of idiots have jobs and have kids and have nice lives. I'm probably just above average and I basically have a decent live.

Where is fucks you is when you start hurting yourself through your own choices? Having a low iq means making bad decisions that easily compound into having bad life you you and the people around you.

And yes, economists agrees that any economy only functions when people have money. Another reason why I support UBi. People might take that 800 a month and waste it on stupid things like stearic and shows but you know what, that many still ends up in businesses hands and help keep the economy going. Also stops riots when people have nothing to lose.

Isn't one of the foundational ideas of economics that people make rational descisions? Tell that to the guy that just spent 20k on a Harley because he thinks it will get him laid.
